La marque HARU est née sous la direction artistique des graphistes japonais Spread dans l’optique de mêler savoir-faire technologique et esthétique contemporaine.
HARU propose ainsi 48 couleurs différentes appliquées sur papier japonais Washi.
Le Washi, « Wa » qui signifie japonais et « Shi » papier, il désigne les papiers traditionnels fabriqués à partir de fibres provenant principalement d’un mûrier (le Kozo).
Il peut également être appliqué sur du PET (plastique de type polyester). Ce papier, grâce à ses longues fibres entrelacées, est très souple et très résistant en même temps.
